Timing Belt Service:
Timing belt replacement is one of the most crucial services due as part of your vehicle’s scheduled maintenance. It is strongly recommended to follow each manufacturer’s timing belt replacement intervals which normally can vary between 40,000 and 80,000 miles (if you are unsure when your timing belt should be replaced please contact us). Failure to replace your vehicle’s timing belt on time will result in major engine damage in most cases due to interference between valves and pistons.
When your vehicle is brought to Novitech Tuning for a timing belt job we also advise replacing the idler roller, tensioner roller, water pump, thermostat and accessory drive belt (when applicable). Even though this is normally an expensive service it is always much cheaper than rebuilding your engine.
